Photo Share lets you seamlessly share photos from your iPhone to any other iPhone, iPad or iPod within Blue Tooth range.
The unique thing about Photo Share is that it feels as though you are viewing the photos right from your very own photo library. Of course if you want to save the photos to your own library you can.
This is the perfect way for mom and dad to sync photos of the kids between their phones. No more emailing a couple photos at a time. You can share hundreds of photos at once.

Here is a quick example of how you would share your photos from an iPhone to an iPad using Photo Share.
✦ Start Photo Share on both the iPhone and the iPad.
✦ On the iPhone, select "Share My Photos".
✦ On the iPad select "View Friends Photos".
✦ The devices will use Bluetooth to find one another.
✦ Use the menus to connect them.
✦ Once you have them connected on the iPhone select one of your photo albums from the list.
✦ From the thumbnails select the photos you wish to share.
✦ When finished select "Begin Sharing".

✦ Why dont I see the photos that I took using my iPhone camera?
Answer: You need to allow the app access to these photos. If you denied access the first time you ran the app you can grant access by going into your device settings. Select General > Location Services and then turn "Photo Share" to "On".
✦ Why cant I share?
Answer: On one device you must select "Share My Photos" and on the other you must select "View Friends Photos".
✦ Why wont the devices find each other with Bluetooth?
Answer: I dont know :( If you are willing to help us diagnose the problem please email us at [email protected]. If you just want to get it fixed ASAP typically you can toggle the device Bluetooth off and then back to fix the problem. A quick way to do this is put your iPhone in "Airplane Mode" from the settings and then turn Airplane Mode back off. Otherwise you can select General > Bluetooth from the Settings and toggle it off and then back on.
ATTENTION IPAD USERS:
Currently the iPad can only receive photos from other iPhones or iPods. It cannot send photos TO iPhones or iPods. This feature will be available in an upcoming release.

Ive tried a few apps for sharing pictures between iOS devices over bluetooth, and this one is my favorite. Using it is simple. The way it utilizes thumbnails and previews to enable quick operation while still sending the full image upon transfer request is clever. And its worked consistently without issues. I look forward to the update thatll allow sending from iPad back to my phones, but Im not removing a star since that missing feature is noted and planned for. Thanks for the app and quick response to my questions (yes, this is a friendly and helpful developer, too).
Didnt read the fine print of OS 3.2. Need to upgrade while on vacation with just an iPhone and iPad - not cool. Cant test out how well this works with the iPad - another $ lost.
I tried another application that offered more features and was more expensive (Photo Exchange) but it failed repeatedly and showed several bugs in the first twenty minutes. However, this application worked quite well immediately, exactly as advertised. I look forward to additional features, e.g. WiFi transfer and transfer from IPad to iPhone. With those in place, and as bug free as the application is now, I would post five stars.
I typically dont purchase applications without a lot of reviews, but there wasnt much in the app store that would do exactly what this app describes. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the connection was made and how well the connection is held. I have a 32GB iPhone4 and 16GB iPad. I dont like to be bothered syncing up to iTunes, then transferring over to the iPad, and worrying about how much space my photos are taking up on the iPad. The way this is works is that my iPad displays the photos from my iPhone4 on its iPad screen, as if they were sharing the same library. You can actually choose which photos are shared, for example if you only want to display photos from a vacation on the iPad and dont want anything else to appear. Im given the option to save the shared photos onto my iPad, or clear the cache and start from 0. Currently you can only share in one direction, but since the current iPad models dont have a camera - not a big deal. It would be great if the application could share videos, and display the "places" geotagged feature as on the iPhone 4.
